What a number profile represents

A profile connects a customer account, a display name and an assigned provider number. Typical names include Personal, Sales, Customer Support and a regional office.

Creating a profile does not purchase or assign a number by itself. An empty profile remains pending until a number is ordered or an administrator assigns an already-owned number.

Buying a number

Browse countries, select a live number and choose a subscription period. Follow the existing checkout and payment instructions, then wait for any account, profile and regulatory approval required for activation.

A pending order can show the requested number while the profile is still waiting for fulfillment. This is different from a successfully purchased and assigned provider number.

Administrator assignments

Administrators can open Customers, choose Manage numbers and select an available number from the connected provider account. They can assign it to an empty profile or create a named profile for that customer.

Available inventory contains already-owned numbers that are not assigned to any customer profile. It is not the same as the public marketplace, which searches numbers that can be ordered.

Subscription and expiry

Paid subscriptions expose their service state and paid-period information. Monthly, three-month and annual plans belong to individual profiles. Renew according to the billing workflow before the configured grace period ends.

Grandfathered legacy profiles can legitimately display no automatic expiry. Assigning a number manually does not silently turn it into a paid subscription or invent a renewal date.

Safe changes and ownership

An already-assigned number is not offered as a free number to another customer. Contact support before transferring or replacing a paid line so related activity and billing can be considered.

The available-number view is administrator-only. A normal customer sees their own profiles, not the company’s unassigned provider inventory or other customers’ numbers.
