Keep the people behind every number easy to recognize.
Use names and contact details to make calls and conversations clearer while managing your communication identities in one account.
Open your accountOrganize the people you speak to
The Android application provides the existing contact workflow. Save recognizable names and check phone numbers in international format so similar contacts do not get confused.
Contacts identify people; number profiles identify the Connect Now lines you use. Naming a profile after a department does not create a separate user account or grant another customer access.
Use the correct communication identity
Before calling or messaging a contact, verify which of your number profiles is selected. This keeps a personal reply from accidentally being sent from a business line.
The portal lets you follow the related stored call and message history. A familiar name does not override the selected sending number or the provider capability requirements.
Permissions and account access
Grant only the permissions needed for your intended application use. Device contacts and account-managed contact records are not necessarily the same collection.
Do not upload or share a contact list without permission. Keep your login private and ask an administrator about supported ownership workflows rather than sharing credentials between unrelated customers.
Maintaining accurate records
Keep numbers and names current, remove obsolete entries through the supported workflow and check country prefixes before a call.
If an entry is missing or linked to the wrong activity, contact support with the profile and contact identifier. Avoid sending a full contact list when a single affected record is enough to investigate.
